Broker Admin->enhancements

The following new features are available within the Broker Admin Console:

• Contact VillageMall Support: provides a direct interface into our Product Acton Request database, used by our Development group. This service is available 24*7.
• Issues: Provides access to VillageMall Technical issues which aaffect any VillageMall service.
• News: provides details of any system changes, new features or service releases which affect any VillageMall Service.

Reduced capacity

Advisor Enhancements

Advisors will have a new "My Advisor" menu item.
This will allow two functions:

• Summary-> Client Daily Summary data
• Multi-portfolio security search

BBY advisors, will be able to view all clients daily summary data, not just the current lite accounts.
Advisors from non BBY accounts should contact their broker to enable this feature.

The multi-portfolio  search function will allow an advisor to find accounts with current holdings of a specific security, and display the current CHESS holding details.

SMSF 2011 TAX RETURN

VillageMall has received approval from the Australian Taxation Office for paper lodgement of the following 2011 forms and schedules:

• 2011 SMSF Annual Return
• 2011 Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Schedule

VillageMall has also received approval from the Australian Taxation Office for the electronic lodgement (ELS approval) of the following 2011 forms and schedules:

• 2011 SMSF Annual Return (Form MS)

Supervisory Levy
In the 2011-12 Federal Budget, the government announced an increase in supervisory levy from $150 to $180 from 1 July 2010. Section D, Label H has been updated to reflect this change.

Release Date
It is expected that subject to ATO ELS stability, 2011 SMSF tax returns can be processed from 1st September 2011.

SMSF 30th June 2011, APIR Unit Trust Prices

As per previous years, the 30th June 2011, unit prices for most APIR Unit trusts will not be available until the end of July or first week of August for some funds.

Unit Prices will be available, to all SMSF and Full portfolio services, as they are received.

1st August 2011: All prices updated and available.

Lite->Portfolio tax pack availability

The tax pack report within Lite->Portfolio->"2011 Report" link is scheduled to be available from Friday the 8th July 2011.

Clients should check the period of each report, as some clients data is only available for a part of the year, due to a new account, missing data feed or errors when transferring off market securities.

In the case of any missing data, you should contact your broker or advisor directly.

IE 9 Support

As VillageMall only supports the last two versions of IE, support for IE7 has been deprecated.

As both IE8 and IE 9 have a compatibility mode (which forces emulation of IE7) you will need to ensure that this mode, is not enabled ,when accessing any of VillageMall's or our partners white label sites.

There is a known problem with IE9 and PDF download across SSL, if you have this problem, then run the on-line fix available from Microsoft.

All future application testing will be done on IE 9 using Windows 7, due to the lack of IE 9 across multiple OS, we expect to extend support of IE 8 until further notice.
